About Camp Fest - Bringing NZ camper's together
Camp Fest is an inclusive, family, camping event covering the whole spectrum of NZ campers. Following on from three successful events in the North Island, it was decided that the Southern campers needed a more local event so Campfest South Island was born.
Whether you have a tent, campervan, caravan, bus, housetruck, teardrop camper or 4WD you are welcome to join with us for this inaugural Southern event.
The weekend event is first and foremost a social gathering to bring together campers from all walks of life who are proud to enjoy and promote the benefits of camping.
Campers - Fees Cover the entire weekend Camping, other charges may apply
$35.00 per adult non members - event entry fee,
$30.00 per adult - All Points Camping Club members
children 15 and under free.
Toilets are available for your use.

Clubs and Groups - Showcase and promote your camping club /group.
Book Swap - A table will be provided for a free book exchange.
Craft Market - There will NOT be a formal craft market at this event BUT you can sell your crafts etc from your camper
Show and Sell Campers can sell the mobile home or tent at the event for a listing fee of $20.00 in addition to any other site registration costs.

Note: While some security will be provided by event organisers the responsibility for securing your own property is ultimately the attendees.
Friday is mainly settling in night and lots of socialising. We will kick the weekend off with a shared dinner on Friday night.
Saturday – There will be a few activities scattered throughout the day. An opportunity for the young at heart to make a kite with the well-known Kite Lady. She has been seen at many kite events for a number of years, teaching many to make a simple kite and how to fly them.
We will have the workshops as outlined below – details available from Registration Tent.
The Woodbury Hall Committee will be making burgers for tea – costs to come.
BYO coffee/alcohol is allowed in the hall on Saturday evening.
Saturday evening, we will have line dancing – not your thing, that’s ok as we will need cheer leaders!
This will be followed a short time with horse racing….

Pet Friendly Event
Pets on leads allowed but not on the cricket area. There is a good dog walk track around the exterior of the Domain.
OPTIONAL EXTRA: Have a Go – ARCHERY tuition from the nearby Archery Club is available. This is a 1.5 hour session. Cost is $25 person. This is limited to 16 people. Registrations are via email: info@campfestnz.org If more than 16 people are interested some can attend the club’s venue nearby the next day. You can also register at the Registration Tent on Friday.
