What's planned so far for Bulls 2026 ...

Friday 6 March

Friday is set up day.  You are welcome to arrive at the Bulls Domain any time from 11am.  The organising group needs time on Friday morning to set up the site, so please don't try and access the Domain grounds before 11am.

The bar in the Rugby Clubrooms will be open from late afternoon on Friday.  The official opening will be at 7pm in the Clubrooms.

Saturday 7 March

Join in the fun activities on Saturday.  See how fast you can pitch a pup tent – and you can even try doing this blindfolded.  There will be tug of war as well as golf putting and gumboot throwing competitions, along with a variety of other activities for all ages.

During Saturday afternoon there will be workshops (more details to come) as well as the annual camping competition.

The local band Light Years will play at Camp Fest on Saturday evening.  Their music has been very popular at previous Camp Fests.  Campers are encouraged to don their favourite fancy dress costume while they listen and dance to the band.  There might even be a prize or two.

Sunday 8 March

We will begin Sunday with another workshop for campers and the Camp Fest prizegiving (more details to come).

After that it will be pack up time.

Do you have items to sell or swap?

Sell your crafts or other items from your camping site

This year we are not having a formal market area, but campers are welcome to sell their crafts, plants or other items from their camping vehicle or tent.

Swap or sell camping gear

A stall will be available to swap or sell second hand camping gear.

Bring good quality books to swap

There will also be a book space where you can swap books that are in good condition, including children's books.

Put your camping vehicle or tent up for sale

Campers can sell their camping vehicle (mobile home, van, caravan) or tent for a listing fee of $20.  This fee is in addition to the Camp Fest registration fee.

We are holding the annual Camping Competition again

The Camping Competition is a popular event at Camp Fest. It’s time to give some thought to how you can pimp up your tent or camping vehicle and woo other campers to vote for you.

This year's categories will be:

  • best kid's tent

  • best tent

  • best small caravan, tear drop, camping van (under 5 meters)

  • best large caravan, camper van (over 5 meters)

  • best house bus/truck

  • people's choice.
